World Environment Day 2022: Competitions on 30-05-2022

 

 All the students are here by informed that EPTRI in collaboration with Commissionerate of Collegiate Education, Hyderabad and Telangana State Pollution Control Board is conducting Competitions for students from GDCs to mark the celebration of World Environment Day which falls on 05 June 2022. 

The three categories of
competitions are as listed below:

1 Painting Competition  on "Only One Earth"
2. Essay Writing Competition on "Switching to Hydrogen from Fossil Fuels - why is it beneficial for the world*
3. Video Making Contest on  "Living sustainably in Harmony with nature"

Hence all the interested students are informed to participate in the computations.

State Level Award in Research to Government Degree College Paloncha in JIGNASA 2022

 College Education The Government of Telangana today (23-05-2022) in Hyderabad hosted a prize giving ceremony by Commissioner Shri Naveen Mittal IAS for those selected for Curiosity Study Projects in the Department of Physics for Government Degree College Palvancha "The Impact of Fly Ash Producing at Thermal Power Plants and Remedies" College Principal Dr. Y Chinnappayya and Physics Professor Surampally Rambabu received the award from the College Education Commissioner Shri Naveen Vittal IAS.

He said that the Curiosity project was very useful for the students to focus on their future research and the opportunity to do more research through such projects. College students, MD Ryan, A Murali, CH Yashwant, G Akshaya, M Lakshmi Manaswini, M Swaroopa and physics lecturers Surampally Rambabu participated in the project. The fly ash available in the vicinity of Palwancha proves how quality rigid bricks can be made at low cost.
