Welcoming the first year students of the degree at the Government Degree College Palwancha, the Second Final Year Students organized a Freshers Day. The event was presided over by Principal Dr. Y Chinnapaiah and was attended by the Chief Guest Mr. B. Rohit Raju IRS, Mrs. B. Sulochanarani DIEO Intermediate Education. B. Rohit Raju, IPS, who was the chief guest at the event, said that the students were advised to excel in all fields during their student phase along with game songs as well as games culture activities and he also recalled his college memories after seeing the students. He reminded that he was never behind in education. He advised the students to set a goal and move on to change that goal whenever possible. He first dreamed of achieving an essay that he too aspired to be in the uniform department while his father was a constable in the police department, and then when his goal was set towards the civil service his parents pushed him forward despite difficulties at home. He explained that the influence of those who were led was immense on his behavior and that the supportive contributions of their friends were also the reason for being in this state. He pointed out that the student phase is so precious that students are not satisfied with small goals whenever they set high goals but for whatever purpose we are coming to that college it is time for us to achieve it. The faculty members in the college are highly qualified lecturers and students are advised to make full use of their services. B Sulochanarani said that the students themselves suggested that the parents of girls, especially in rural areas, should marry girls at an early age so as not to ruin their high future. Students are also advised to explain their desires to their parents and persuade their parents to go ahead with higher studies to maintain parental confidence in themselves. Palwancha Government Degree College has a lot of facilities and students are advised to make proper use of these facilities and hope that the college will soon move forward in all fields under the auspices of the younger brother and achieve a better rank. The students at the event were very impressed with the game songs and dances. The faculty aspired for the students to strive for themselves to be in a superior position and to achieve a better standard in their lives.
